Ethereal Lace Exhibition & Talk
Franki Franklin, a master knitter focusing on delicate lacework whose work will next be seen at the Parker Arts Center for their Fiber Innovations show, will be at Sew Steamboat on Saturday afternoon from 4-6pm. The exhibition will include examples of her ethereal lace including a Niebling and a Kinzel, and her "weirdo" equipment she's developed to create her beautiful work. Franki will discuss her process and her love of lace and will be available for questions as well. This event is free and open to the public.

Routt County Fair Field Trip
Did you enter something in the fair?
Join us for a field trip to go pick up your piece!
We're meeting at the Transit Center in Steamboat at 11am on Sunday and carpooling over to the Routt County Fairgrounds. Enjoy a relaxed perusal of the Home Arts exhibits, your favorite fair food, and a little ranch rodeo before picking up your piece at 2pm.
We hear there will be 100 quilts as the Delectable Mountain Quilt Guild celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Routt County Fair! Plus, our knitters, crocheters, felters and sewists have been throwing down. We can't believe how fabulous all the entries are!
It's one of our favorite field trips of the year! Join us for all the fun!
Donna will be teaching students Learn to Crochet August 20 & 27. Learn the basics of crochet and get hooded on this really fun pastime!
